ORDINANCE NO. 5464 -72
AN ORDINANCE FOR A TRANSFER IN THE AMOUNT OF
$80.00 TO ACCOUNT Q -43, "REPAIR PARTS" FROM
ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" IN THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT BUDGET, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL
FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to
meet such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds
"Repair Parts ", to repair existing
to assure the department's ability
and
are needed for Account Q -43,
equipment in the Fire Department,
to properly perform its functions;
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is
not presently needed and more specifically as follows, to -wit:
$80.00 in Account Q -11, "Services Personal ", in the
Fire Department Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the sum of $80.00 be transferred to
Account Q- 3, "Repair Parts ", from Account Q -11, "Services Personal"
in the Fire Department Budget, all being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for
emergency appropriations.
