GAMMON -'Z Transfer of Funds - Firemen's Pension Fund ORDINANCE NO. 5463 -72 AN ORDINANCE FOR A TRANSFER IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 TO ACCOUNT Y -361, "RECORDS, STATIONERY AND PRINTING ", FROM ACCOUNT Y -213, "TRAVELING EXPENSES" IN THE AMOUNT OF $50.00, AND FROM ACCOUNT Y -252, "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $50.00, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for Account Y -361, "Records, Stationery and Printing" to purchase office supplies for the Office of the Firemen's Pension Fund, to assure the department's ability to properly perform its functions; and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in other accounts where it is not presently needed and more specifically as follows, to -wit: $50.00 in Account Y -213, "Traveling Expenses" $50.00 in Account Y -252, "Repairs of Equipment" Both Accounts being within the Firemen's Pension Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $100.00 be transferred to Account Y -3 1, "Records, Stationery and Printing ", from Account Y -213, "Traveling Expenses" in the amount of $50.00, and from Account Y -252, "Repairs of Equipment" in the amount of $50.00, all accounts being within the Firemen's Pension Fund. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
