ORDINANCE NO. 5473 -72
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA AND RIES EQUIPMENT CO., INDIANAPOLIS,
INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO SELF - PROPELLED
VACUUM TYPE STREET SWEEPERS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$65,46o.00
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the contract entered into between
the Wastewater Treatment Plant of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
and Ries Equipment Co., Indianapolis, Indiana, on the 20th day of
November, 1972, for the purchase of two self - propelled vacuum type
street sweepers, Model "Whirlwind ", manufactured by Elgin Street
Sweeper Co. in the amount of $65,460.00, is hereby approved and
confirmed. (Wastewater Improvement Fund Account No. 5100 -1.)
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
