ORDINANCE NO. 5468 -72'
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $100.00 WITHIN THE
HUMAN RELATIONS AND FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES
COMMISSION FROM ACCOUNT 212 "POSTAGE" TO
ACCOUNT 64 "BENEFIT TRUST LIFE INSURANCE" BOTH
BEING WITHIN THE HUMAN RELATIONS AND FAIR
EMPLOYMENT COMMISSION'S BUDGET.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet
such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed in Account 64 "Benefit
Trust Life Insurance" of the Human Relations and Fair Employment Prac-
tices Commission budget to assure that Commission "s ability to properly
perform its functions; and
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in Account 212 "Postage" of the
Human Relations and Fair Employment Practices Commission's budget
where this surplus is not presently needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I That the total sum of $100.00 be transferred
from Account 212 "Postage" to Account 64 "Benefit Trust Life Insurance ",
both being within the Human Relations and Fair Employment Practices
Commission's budget.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by
the Mayor.
