ORDINANCE NO. 5467 -72
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $205.00 FROM PARKING
METER FUND ACCOUNT 12 "OTHER COMPENSATION" TO
PARKING METER FUND ACCOUNT 64 "BENEFIT TRUST
LIFE INSURANCE ", BOTH BEING WITHIN THE PARKING
METER FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet
such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed in Account 64 "Benefit
Trust Life Insurance" of the Parking Meter Fund to assure that Depart-
ment's ability to properly perform'its functions; -and
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in Account 12 "Other Compen-
sation" of the Parking Meter Fund where this surplus is not presently
needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the total sum of $205.00 be transferred
from Account 12 "Other Compensation" to Account 64 "Benefit Trust Life
Insurance ", both being within the PArking Meter Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by
the Mayor.
