RE: Ordinance Establishing a Schedule of Charges
for the Treatment of Septic Tank Dumpings
FROM: Louis Rague, Bureau Manager
The Bureau of Wastewater is presenting an ordinance to
establish charges for the cost incurred and the treatment
of waste from septic tank dumpings.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant has developed a program for
the treatment of said wastes and the costs resulting there-
from; and the program has been approved by the Board of
Wastewater Treatment Plant Commissioners.
Said service by the Wastewater Treatment Plant is the only
one of its kind in the area. The charges are based on the
cost of removing suspended solids and general processing and
treatment of waste materials.
