BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 4990 -68, as amended, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: Lots Numbered One Hundred Sixty -Five (165) to One Hundred Seventy (170), inclusive, as shown on the recorded plat of Myers and Funks Third Plat of Chippewa Heights Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana be and the same is hereby established as a "C -2" planned.Shopping Center District and a "C" Height and Area District. Gentlemen: The attached rezoning petition of Ralph Charles Tremel was legally advertised September 9, and September 16, 1972. The Area Plan Commission gave it a public hearing on September 19, 1972 at which time the following action was taken: "A motion by Joseph Simeri, seconded by Garrett Mullins was unanimously carried recommending fav- orably the petition of Ralph Charles Tremel to zone from Residential to "C -2" Planned Shopping Center District to the Common Council of the City of South Bend by the Area Plan Commission." The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above decision are shown in the minutes of that public hearing and will be for- warded to you at a later date to be made a part of this report.
