ORDINANCE NO. S 533 - ,23
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE RECEIVING
AND CONVEYING OF A GIFT OF REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, Morris L. Morrison and Florence Morrison,
husband and wife, are the owners in fee simple of Lot B,
Ridgedale, 4th Addition in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph
County, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the Park Department of the City of South Bend
has for many years last past been maintaining and caring for
this property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the Civil City of South Bend, accept a
gift of real property from Morris L. Morrison and Florence Morrison,
being that property more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Lot B Ridgedale 4th Addition
by a Quit -Claim Deed, subject to all unpaid taxes and assessments,
and restrictions of record,
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, approval by the Mayor, and compliance with
all statutory requirements.
