AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE BUREAU OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, AND (1) L. O. GATES CHEVROLET
CORPORATION, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND (2)
JORDAN FORD CITY, INCORPORATED, SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN VEHICLES
IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $16,307.59.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the contract entered into between
the Bureau of Water of South Bend, Indiana, and; (1) L. 0. Gates
Chevrolet.Corporation, South Bend, Indiana, and; (2) Jordan Ford
City, Incorporated, South Bend, Indiana, on the 8th day of May,
1974, as the purchase of certain vehicles is required in the
operation of said Bureau of Water in a total quantity and a total
cost not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for each classifi-
cation hereafter listed in the total amount of $16,307.59, is hereby
approved and confirmed:
1. L. O. Gates Chevrolet Corporation
(1) 110" Wheel Base 4 dr. Sedan $ 3,189.35
(1) 3/4 Ton Pick Up 3,203.33
$ 6,392.68
2. Jordan Ford City, Incorporated
(2) 1/2 Ton Pick Up @ $2,673.99 ea. $ 5,347.98
(1) 1 -1/2 Ton Cab & Chassis
w /Utility Body 4,566.93
$ 9,914.91
TOTAL AMOUNT $16,307.59
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements.
