GAMMON Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 5594 -73 AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 5053 -69 REGULATING THE PRESENCE OF MINORG UNDER THE FULL AGE OF EIGHTEEN YEARS ON PUBLIC STREETS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES BETWEEN CERTAIN HOURS. WHEREAS, the Common Council on January 27, 1969, passed Ordinance No. 5053 -69 regulating the presence of minors under the full age of eighteen years on public streets and other public places between certain hours; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to repeal said Ordinance No. 5053 -69 in order to facilitate the operations of the Bureau of Police in keeping the streets of South Bend safe and quiet; and WHEREAS, Burns Statute ®9 -3204 will better suffice to facilitate the operations of the Bureau of Police in keeping the streets of South Bend safe and quiet. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 5053 -69 adopted by the Common Council on January 27, 1969, is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. r�� - m . Passed October 22, 1973, as amended. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance Should go to the Council as favorable, as amended: .
