AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $67,031.67
FROM THE CUMILATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
FUND TO THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AND TO THE
CUMULATIVE CAPITOL IMPROVEMENT FUND.
WHEREAS, the Kensington Farms Subdivisions Local Sewer has been
constructed pursuant to a contract between Howell Construction Company
and the Civil City of South Bend; and
WHEREAS, engineering for this project was paid solely from the
Cumulative Capitol Improvement Fund; and
WHEREAS, funds are now needed to pay the City's share of the
assessed cost of said construction; and
WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Funds has been
been established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the sum of $67,031.67 be appropriated from
the Sumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the project
and in the amounts set forth below:
General Improvement Fund - Kensington Farms Sewers $58,231.67
Cumulative Capitol Improvement Fund - 8,800.00
TOTAL $67,031.67
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements.

There will be presented on January 14, 1974 the first reading of an ordinance
appropriating from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund the sum of
$67,031.67 and distributing it as follows:
General Improvement Fund - Kensington Farms Sewers $ 58,231.67
Cumulative Capitol Improvement Fund, line item 261 1 8,800.00
67;031.67
This ordinance is the result of the finishing of the Kensington Farms Sanitary
Sewer Barrett law project and reflects the city's share of construction costs,
and the engineering fees that were paid from services contractual 261.0 within
the C >C.I.F, account.
This construction was the result of Resolution #3373 passed by the Board of
Public Works on December 18, 1972,
