AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $1,488.02 FROM THE
PARK DISTRICT BOND CONSTRUCTION FUND TO THE
PARK DISTRICT BOND REDEMPTION FUND
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption
of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to transfer money
from one account to another in the annual budget for the various functions
of the Department of Public Parks to meet such extraordinary emergencies,
and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Parks has completed its construction of the
King Recreation Center and has an unused balance of $1,488.02 and pursuant
to Indiana Statutes such unused funds must be transferred to the Park District
Bond Redemption Fund
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana,
Section I. That the following account be reduced in the amount
set opposite said account to -wit:

Section II. That the following account be increased in the amount
set opposite said account to -wit:

65 Park District Bond Redemption $1,488.02
That the transfer of funds as set forth in Section I and II are required for
the proper and efficient operation and function of the Department of Public
Parks of South Bend and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist con-
cerning the foregoing transfer.
Section III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, approved by the Mayor, and the fulfillment
of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
