Attached is an ordinance appropriating $110,000.00 from the Cumulative Sewer
Sinking and.Building Fund to CS -2, Model Cities Sewer Separation Project.
Prior to this time, money was appropriated for engineering on this project.
The engineering design work has proceeded to a point where necessary land
acquisition has been defined. The land to be acquired is an area bounded by
Orange Street, College Street, Washington Avenue and Jackson Street. A re-
tention basin is to be constructed on this site.
For your reference, this project is expected to cost approximately $2.1 million
with approximately $679,000.00 coming from HUD.
Your approval of this appropriation will be appreciated.
Very truly yours,
