AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $1,000.00 FROM
ACCOUNT 630.0 "P.E.R.F." TO ACCOUNT
242.0 "PUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES ",
BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE CONTROLLER'S
BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, additional funds are required over those
previously appropriated for a certain account within the
Controller's Budget; and
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where
it is not presently needed. This surplus is shown more
specifically as follows, to -wit:
$1,000.00 in Account 630.0 "P.E.R.F."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend:
SECTION I. That the Account 630.0 "P.E.R.F."
be reduced by $1,000.00, and this amount be appropriated and
transferred as follows:

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
its approval by the Mayor.

We are requesting an Ordinance to transfer $1,000.00
from Account 630.0 "P.E.R.F." to Account 242.0
"Publication of Legal Notices ". The need for this
transfer was brought about by the unusually large
number of Ordinances, especially in the area of
Revenue Sharing, which were processed this year.
We have budgeted $700.00 more for this Line Item
in the 1975 Budget, which should be sufficient.
