AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $62,500.00
TO ACCOUNT NO. 440.0 'MATERIALS" IN THE CUMULATIVE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET FROM THE CUMULATIVE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget of the Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund Budget so that it is now necessary to
appropriate more money than was originally appropriated, in order
to insure the fund's ability to properly perform its functions, and
WHEREAS, a surplus currently exists in the Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund which may be appropriated for Account No.
440.0 "Materials ";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the sum of $62,500.00 be, and hereby is,
appropriated from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund to the
Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund Budget to be appropriated as set
forth below:
$62,500.00 in Account No. 440.0 1T11aterials"
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements.

There will be presented for your consideration on December 16; 1974 for
first reading and ordinance appropriating $62,500.00 to line item 440,0
Materials of the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund. This appropriation
replaces monies which you, earlier this year, transferred from CCIF to
the land account of the Park Department. At that time it was stated that
monies would be replaced when the 50% reimbursement was received from the
federal government.
