Director, Public Works Members of the Common Council County -City Building South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: Reply To: Bureau of Design & Administration November 20, 1974 Sanitary sewers were installed in the Meadowview Subdivision in the southwest side of South Bend. This installation is part of the overall plan to provide or offer to provide sewers to the resident of South Bend at approximately 50/ of cost. This project is complete and many residents have already availed themselves of the new service. We are now requesting the 50% City share of this project in the amount of $28,590.41. We would also like to point out that the Barrett Law work for this project was done by the Department of Public works and thus, the residents and the City were saved an estimated 10% of the construction cost. Your favorable consideration will be appreciated. Very truly yours, -o_ el_ d Rollin E. Farrand, P.E. Director David A. Wells, P.E. - Manager Bureau of Design & Administration DAW /mp
