AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BUREAU
OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND
BADGER METER, INCORPORATED, OF MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN WATER METERS IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $156,976.80.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the contract entered into between the Bureau of Water of
South Bend, Indiana, and Badger Meter, Incorporated, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
on the 17th day of February, 1975, for the purchase of

total cost not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized

March 5, 1975
SUBJECT: Ordinance for the Purchase of Water Meters
The Bureau of Water is presenting an Ordinance to the Common
Council which will approve one contract for the purchase of certain
meters.
Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana
and were found competitive. The contract was awarded to Badger Meter,
Incorporated of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by the Board of Water Works
Commissioners on the 17th day of February, 1975, as being the lowest and
best bid,. Total net amount of this purchase is $156,976.80.
