ORDINANCE NO. 57 80a - -7 5-
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 8
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA RELATING TO THE PAY PERIOD
FOR ALL OFFICERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. Section 2 -44 of Article 8 (previously
Article 10) of Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, shall be amended to read as follows:
Payments for personal services to all officers
and employees of the City shall be made bi- weekly on every
other Friday with the first such pay period of the year commenc-
ing no later than the first Friday following the initial two
weeks pay period.
SECTION II. Upon - passage by the Common Council
and approval of the Mayor, this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect on and after January 1, 1915.
