The South Bend Bureau of Police needs $25,000 to continue the
"Overtime Foot Patrol and Stake -Out Program" now in existence.
It had been previously indicated that $90,000 would be allocated
for this purpose. The $25,000 we are now requesting brings us to
this $90,000 -total for 1975.
As you know, $90,000 has been approved in the 1976 Police budget.
We continue to believe this program is important and valued by the
Community. Your continued support will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Michael D. Carrington
Director of Public Safety
