Decker May 7, 1975 Common Council City of South Bend County -City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 SUBJECT: Revenue Sharing Funds to purchase street and alley materials. Gentlemen; As was so stated in my letter of 3 -5 -75 in which I requested and received your approval for $47,200.00 in FA funds that I would be back in the second quarter for and additional $252,800.00 to make up the $300,000.00 needed to complete our paving and slurry seal programs this year. I wish to point out that this request if approved will still afford me with less available funds for street and alley materials than was spent in 1974, also there has been a sub- stantial increase in cost of material for 1975. Hopefully the Council will approve this request for $252,800.00 in Revenue Sharing funds thus affording the citizens a Paving and Slurry Seal program to fit the needs of this community for 1975.
