There will be presented for first reading on March 24, 1975, for your consid-
eration, an ordinance appropriating $4,500 from the General Revenue Sharing
Fund. These funds are to be soley used to purchase the furniture necessary
to make the new Fire Station #4 a liveable installation. The following is a
breakdown of costs incurred in this project.
Total monies available from bond of 71 issue: $215,000
Construction costs per contract
through Change Order #7 $207,792.00
Draperies 425.00
Traverse Rods 40.02
Owner's Risk Insurance 235.00
Telephone Installation 50.00
Construction Sub -Total $208,542.02
Landscaping (Exterior) 2,000.00
Construction Contingency 500.00
$211,042.02
Balance Available for Appliances and Furniture: $ 3,957.98
The following are items necessary to make this a liveable station:
1 Kitchen Gas Range
3 Refrigerators
40 Beds
1 Murphy Bed
2 Dining -Room Tables
12 Dining -Room Chairs
40 Lockers
If it is estimated that these furnishings will cost $8,457.98 this would
leave a deficit of $4,500 which we are requesting from General Revenue
Sharing Funds with your approval..
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Michael D. Carrington-
Director-of Public Safety
