X13 SI - i 6 All ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND ESTABLISHING AN HISTORIC LANDMARK UNDER ORDINANCE No. 5565 -73, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 4990 -6£3, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND WHEREAS, a member of the Common Council of the City of South Bend has.petitioned for the designation of the following described real estate as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance No. 5565 -73, as amended, to wit: Lots 13 and D Navarre Place, lst Addition The improvements located upon said land can be commonly described as 113 West North Shore Drive hereinafter referred to as the "PROPERTY." WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County has recommended the designation of the PROPERTY as an Historic Landmark. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INTDIAHA: SECTION 1. That the above described PROPERTY be, and it is hereby, designated and established as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance No. 5565 -73, as amended. Smith, President Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County Room 1123, County -City Building South Bend, IN 46601 In Re: Proposed designation of property located at 113 West North Shore Drive, City of South Bend Dear Mr. Smith: We have reviewed the Historic Preservation Commission's proposed designation of the above property as an historic landmark, with respect to the relation- ship of said property to the comprehensive plan for the City of South Bend, the effect of the proposed designation on the surrounding neighborhood, and other relevant planning considerations. We find the proposed designation to be in accordance with and,to further the intent of the Proposed Land Use and Transportation Plan, and we would therefore return a favorable recommendation to the Historic Preservation Commission.
