ORDINANCE NO. 5873 -75
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS
FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN HISTORIC PRESERVATION
REVOLVING FUND TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE
SOUTHOLD HERITAGE FOUNDATION, INC.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, that:
SECTION I. The City of South Bend, through the
Department OT Human Resources, shall enter into a contract
with the Southold Heritage Foundation, Inc., in order to
establish a revolving fund for housing preservation in the
West Washington Historic District.
SECTION II. A grant of $75,000 shall be awarded to
the Southold Heritage Foundation, Inc. to establish such
fund.
SECTION III. The fund will be administered by the
Southold Herit g Foundation, Inc., in accordance with the
attached contract.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from an after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.
