ORDINANCE NO. 5-P'70 -7 S
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, PERTAINING TO MILEAGE ALLOWANCE
FOR USE OF PRIVATE VEHICLES ON CITY BUSINESS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The following section of the Municipal
Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 2 -47 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE FOR USE OF
PRIVATE VEHICLES ON CITY BUSINESS.
There is hereby established a fixed mileage rate for
City officials and employees for the use of private conveyances
for City business for all reimbursable travel actually done and
for which reimbursement is to be made upon proper claim filed and
allowed from Budget Item 215 in the amount of Fifteen Cents ($0.15)
per mile.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.
