AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ALL PARKING
GARAGE FEES AND FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1976
TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CIVIL
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE USES
AND PURPOSES SET FORTH THEREIN, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CHAPTER 190 OF THE ACTS OF THE GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF INDIANA OF 1955.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. For the payment of the costs of maintenance,
operation, repair, and all other incidental costs and expenses in
the operation of the off - street parking facilities of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1976, the following sums are
hereby appropriated:

I am submitting the proposed 1976 budget for operation and debt
service of the two parking garages. The 1976 budget uses the same
level of personnel as in 1975, with all other expense based on
cost experience during 1975. The only exception to this is the
inclusion of $8,000 in Account No. 260.0, Other Contractual Ser-
vices, for the repair of outside surfaces on the St. Joseph Street
structure.
