AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
BUREAU OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
AND SHAMROCK FORD TRUCK SALES, INC., OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 1976 TRUCK
IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $6,524.00
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the contract entered into between the Bureau of Water of
South Bend, Indiana, and Shamrock Ford Truck Sales, Inc., of South Bend,
Indiana on the 6th day of October, 1975 for the purchase of one (1) 1976
Truck as required in the operation of said Bureau of Water in a total quantity
and a total cost not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for each
classification hereafter listed in the total amount of $6,524.00, is hereby
approved and confirmed:
1 - 1976 Ford Truck
$6,524.00
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and approval by the Mayor.

SUBJECT: Ordinance for the Purchase of 1976 Truck
The Bureau of Water is presenting an Ordinance to the Common
Council which will approve one contract for the purchase of a 1976
Truck.
Bids were let pursuant to the statutes of the State of Indiana
and were found competitive. The contract was awn -ded to Shamrock
Ford Truck Sales, Incorporated of South Bend, Indiana, by the Board
of Water Works Cormnissioners on the 6th day of October, 1975, as
being the lowest and best bid
is $6,524.00.
