There will be presented for your consideration on September 12,
1976, the first reading of an ordinance appropriating the sum of
$10,000.00 from Revenue Sharing.
This appropriation, if passed, will be used to supplement support
costs associated with the construction of Century Center. Con-
struction is progressing well, and it is expected that the building
will be closed by winter, and at that point, work will continue on
the interior portion of the building.
In order to prevent damage to the building during the winter, heat
will have to be supplied during this period. The heating system
has been completed, and heat can be provided. It is estimated that
30,000 gallons of fuel oil will be required to heat the building
through the month of December, 1976, and at an average rate of
just under 34 cents per gallon, our needs are believed to be
$10,000.00
Your favorable consideration of this ordinance W/11 b4 appreciated.
