GAMMON Approved and signed by me AL IQ ZZ A - • C7 9 2 1926_ Clerk ORDINANCE NO.(F©_jq-)6 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $705,000 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR HOUSING REHABILITATION LOANS AND GRANTS, TO BE AD- MINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS BUREAU OF HOUSING. WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to execute certain community development project activities to preserve and rehabilitate the existing City's housing stock. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: Section I. The sum of $705,000 is hereby appropriated for the program year starting July 7, 1976, from the South Bend Community Development Block Grant Program. This appropriation is to be administered by the Bureau of Housing. PROGRAM CD - 76 - 102 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PURPOSE AMOUNT Housing Rehabilitation $705,000 Loans and Grants Section II. Also, attached are those guidelines to be used for the distribution of those funds to eligible residents within those target areas.
