AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,470 FROM THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR URBAN PLANNING
ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF
HUMAN RESOURCES.
WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the name
of the City of South Bend has received the approval of the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development to execute
certain activities to improve the Department's planning
capabilities in the area of Land Use and Housing. Said Community
Development funds are necessary as payment of non - federal share
to the Urban Planning Assistance Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $12,470 is hereby appropriated
for the year from July 1, 1976, to June 30, 1977, from the
Community Development Fund. This appropriation is to be administered
by the Department of Human Resources and will be distributed
as set forth below:
