AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,000 FROM THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND, FOR VARIOUS
PLANNING ACTIVITIES, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS URBAN
OBSERVATORY PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources in the
name of the City of South Bend has received the approval of
the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
to execute certain activities to improve the City's planning
and management capabilities. Said Community Development
funds are necessary as payment of non - federal share to the
Urban Observatory Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend as follows:
Section i. That the sum of $4,000 is hereby appropriated
for the year from July 1, 1976, to June 30, 1977, from the
Community Development Fund. This appropriation is to be
administered by the Urban Observatory Program and will be
distributed as set forth below:
PROGRAM CD - 76 - 1000
URBAN OBSERVATORY PROGRAM
PURPOSE AMOUNT
Local share S 4,000
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
approval by the Mayor.
