AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE BUREAU OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, AND THE CITY OF KALAMAZOO,
MICHIGAN, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE -YEAR OLD
METERS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $3,900.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I, That the Contract entered into between the
Bureau of Water of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and the City of
Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the purchase of One Hundred Ninety Five
(195) one -year old, 5/8" Badger Meters with attached Read- O -Matic
Devices is necessary in the operation of said Bureau of Water for
a total cost not to exceed $3,900.00, is hereby approved and confirmed.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval
by the Mayor.

The Bureau of Water is presenting an Ordinance to the Common
Council which will approve a Contract for the purchase of One Hundred Ninety
Five (195) one -year old, 5/8" Badger Meters with attached Read- O -Matic
Devices.
Total net amount of this purchase is $3,900.00.
