ORDINANCE NO. 6220 -77
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,000 FROM THE
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY KNOWN AS
GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS
TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND
FINANCE.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
Additional funds are needed by the Department of Law to
administer certain programs and to enhance the Department's
ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The sum of $5,000 is hereby appropriated for
the year 1977, from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly
known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropri-
ation is to be administered by the Department of Administration
and Finance and will be distributed as set forth below:

SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the
Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency
appropriations.
