GAMMON Approved and signed by me Ig -� Clerk ORDINANCE NO. ` X> 7 7 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $17,250.00 IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. TRANSFERS ARE BEING MADE IN VARIOUS BUDGET CLASSIFICATIONS WITHIN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to transfer money from one account to another in the annual budget for the various functions of the Fire Department to meet such extraordinary emergencies. It has been acertained that certain accounts in the Fire Department Budget have more money than is needed at this time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the following accounts be reduced in the amounts as follows: Account Description Amount 251.0 Building & Structure Repairs $4,000.00 260.0 Telephone Alarm System $2,500.00 331.0 Household Laundry & Cleaning $ 750.00 726.0 Other Equipment $10,000.00 $17,250.00 SECTION II. That the following accounts be increased in the amounts set forth as follows: 222.0 Gas $6,500.00 263.0 Laundry & Cleaning $ 200.00 324.0 Garage & Motor $ 300.00 430.0 Repair Parts $6,000.00 540.0 Clothing Allowance $4,250.00 $17,250.00 SECTION III.
