Dear Mr. Parent:
The attached ordinance on the proposed local homesteading
program is hereby submitted for Council action.
The $50,000 appropriation request will be used for the expansion
of the City's present Federal Homestead Program. Due to the
limited number of properties available through the Department
of Housing and Urban Development, we intend to establish a City.
Homestead Program through which properties will be made available
to eligible.applicants. Only those properties deemed feasible
for rehabilitation will be offered.
If you have any questions please contact me at your convenience.
Thank you.
