AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
BUREAU OF WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, AND A. H. CHOITZ, INC., SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MODEL P175 -WW
I'NGERSOLLvRAND AIR COMPRESSOR IN THE AMOUNT OF
$4,509.,00
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
To approve the purchase of an air compressor as purchase of
same is required in the operation of the Bureau of Water,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the Contract entered into between the Bureau
of Water of the City of South Bend, Indiana and A. H. Choitz, Inc.,
South Bend, Indiana on the 6th day of March, 1978, pursuant to
advertising and receipt of bids for the purchase of a Model P175 -WW
Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor, in the amount of $4,509.00, is hereby
approved and confirmed.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approved by
the Mayor.

SUBJECT: Ordinance for Purchase of One Model P175 -WW Ingersoll Rand
Air Compressor
The Bureau of Water is presenting an Ordinance to the Common
Council which will approve one Contract for the purchase of a Model P175 -WW
Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor.
Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana
and were found competitive. The Contract was awarded to A. H. Choitz, Inc.,
South Bend, Indiana by the Board of Water Works Commissioners on the 6th day of
March, 1978. The total amount of this purchase is $4,509.00.
