Dear Councilmen:
219/284 -9742
There will be presented to you on January 23, 1978 the first reading
of an ordinance appropriating $2,899.50 from the Discovery Hall Fund
of the City of South Bend for contractual services used by Discovery
Hall.
This appropriation represents a grant received by Discovery Hall from
the National Endowment for the Humanities to plan and develop exhibits
at Discovery Hall. At this point, the monies have been received,
and some priliminary work has been done by the Consultant. It is our
feeling that it would now be necessary to make a partial payment to
the Consultant so that work may continue.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my office.
Very truly
