AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $1,000.00 AMONG
THE VARIOUS BUDGET CLASSIFICATIONS OF THE
COMMON COUNCIL WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary
to transfer funds from one account to another in the annual budget
for the various expenses of the Common Council. It has been ascer-
tained that an account in the Common Council budget has greater funds
than are needed at this time, while another account has an insuffi-
cient amount. Accordingly, this Ordinance is intended to adjust these
two accounts of the Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The following account should be reduced in the
amount as follows:

SECTION II. The following account should be increased in the
amount set forth as follows:

.0213 Travel Expense $1,000.00
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the
Mayor, and fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency
appropriations.
