JULY 8, 1957
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers on Monday, July 8, 1957, at 8:15 P.M., C.D.S.T., with six members present, Councilmen Korpal,
Tellson and Muszynski being absent.
Councilman Carr, Chairman, presided.
ORDINANCE:
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT Q -11, SERVICES
PERSONAL, $11,895.00 TO FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT Q -38, GENERAL SUPPLIES
$1,000.00; FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT Q -452 PARTS OF EQUIPMENT $4,770.00;
FIRE DEPARTMENT Q -721 FURNITURE AND FIXTURES, $750.00; FIRE DEPARTMENT
Q -726 OTHER EQUIPMENT., $5,375.00; ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, FOR 1957, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance.Councilman Hahn made a motion that
the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn, seconded
by Councilman Glass. Motion carried and the Committee of .the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:19 P.M., C.D.S.T.
