JUNE 3, 1957
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the Council
Chambers.on Monday, June 3, 1957, at 8:10 P.M., C.D:S.T., with all members present except Councilman Hahn.
CALL FOR A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
We, the undersigned members of the Common Council, hereby call a Special Meeting of the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, to convene at the Council Chamber at the City Hall at 8:00 P.M., C.D.S.T. (7:00 P.M., C.S.T.)
on the 3rd day of June, 1957, for the prupose of considering the following: LEGISLATION CONCERNING THE DETOUR OF
INTER -CITY TRUCKS DURING THE CCRSTRUCTION OF SAMPLE STREET:

Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Special call be accepted and placed om file. Councilman Kroll seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE OF THE THOLE MEETING
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole meet-
ing in the Council Chamber, Monday, June 3, 1957, at 8:14 P.M., C.D.S.T., with all members present except Councilman
Hahn. Councilman Carr, Chairman, presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 80, 81 and 82 OF CHAPTER 29 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 3709
Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. Councilman Muszynski made a motion
to amend the ordinance by inserting in the last line of the second paragraph under Section 1, "Interstate Commerce
Commission of the " since these words were inadvertently omitted from the Ordinance. Councilman Kroll seconded the
motion. Motion carried.

Councilman Erler made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable] Councilman Kroll seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn.
Councilman;Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:27 P.M.,
