REGULAR MEETING MAY 27, 1957
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in the
Council Chambers, Monday, May 27, 1957, at 8:22 P.M., C.D.S.T., with all members present except Councilman Hahn.
Councilman Carr, Chairman, presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
ONE MILLION DOLLARS($1,000,000.00) TO BE APPLIED TO THE CONST OF CONSTRUCTION,
RE- CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS, AND EXPENSES INCURRED IN CONNECTION
THEREWITH
Public hearing on the above Ordinance. Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. Councilman
Kroll made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn. Coun-
cilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:29 P.M.,
