COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING _ -- — -- — - — -- _FEBRUARY 11,1957 _ --
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers, Monday, February 11, 1957, at 8:16 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Christman.
Councilman Carr, Chairman, presided.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE, ACCOUNT E -13 SPECIAL (PAUPER)
ATTORNEY FUND THE SUM OF $1200.00, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR`THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR
1957 AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. Councilman Hahn made a motion that
the Ordinance go to_the Council as favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF ROBINHOOD COURT, from MICHIGAN STREET (U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 31) EAST
TO BARBIE STREET, TO BARBIE STREET.
Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. Councilman Glass made a motion that
the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Erler seconded the motion.. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn.
Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8 :44 P.M.
