COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING
DECEMBER 10th, 1956
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in
the Council Chambers, Monday, December 10th, 1956, at 8:07 P.M., with all members present. Councilman Carr, Chair-
man, presided.
ORDINANCE
Public hearing was had on an ordinance appropriating from the General Fund $75.00 to Office Of City Judge, E -13,
Pauper Attorney $75.00.
Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to speak on this ordinance. Councilman Erler made a motion that
the ordinance be held in the Committee of the Whole until President Stanley Korpal and City Attorney Irving Smith
could meet with the Bar Associaition to clarify the situation. Councilman Christman seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn. Council-
man Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:28 P.M.
