Councilman Carr made a motion to hold up the Roll Call vote on this Ordinance due to the fact that the Department Heads were not present to answer questions. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Chief Dutrieux came into the Council Chambers and the Assistant to the Street Commissioner appeared and explained their requests. Councilman Carr withdrew his motion and the second to the motion was withdrawn by Councilman Kroll. The Ordinance was then given Third Reading and passed by a Roll Call vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays. Lincoln-way t =est within 1200 feet Of subject property, being two blocks on both sides of Lincoln `.'ay T•?est between Towa and Goodland Streets, and that within the said two blocks there existed the approximate equivalent of 17 lots that were co=ercia.11y zoned yet vacant, that these lots constituted approximately 900 front feet of commercially zoned, vacant land. The Commission further found that there exists, within 1600 feet, to the northwest of subject property 600 feet, more or less, Of existing comr,.iercia.11y zoned, vacant land existed opposite the St. .losepit County Airport.
