COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING MARCH 26th, 1956
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole
meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, March 26th, 1956, at 8:22 P.M., C.D.S.T. (7:22 P.M., C.S.T.), with all
members present except Councilman Hahn and Councilman Glass. Chairman Carr Presided.
ORDINANCE
"An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Ind-
iana" (Lots 7, 8, and the east 33 feet of lot 6 in Herrick and Grant Addition as per petition of Charles H.
Gerhardt, et a1.).
Public hearing had been set for March 26th, 1956, and Roy E. Jones, owner of adjacent property appeared and stated
that he had never received a notice and asked that the public hearing be continued to April 23rd. Other property
owners would confer with Mr. Jones and they would retain an Attorney to represent them at the public hearing.
Motion by Councilman Erler that the Public hearing on the above matter be ket for April 23rd, 1956. Seconded by
Councilman Muszynski. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn,
which motion was seconded by Councilman Muszynski. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting ad-
journed at 8:27 P.M.
