Be it remembered that the Common Council.of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting
in the Council Chamber, Monday, May 9th, 1955, at 8:06 P.M. (E.S.T.), with all members present except
Councilman Pinter. Chairman Hahn presided.
ORDINANCE NO. 4046
"An Ordinance appropriating from the General Fund $7,936.53 to Police Department P -11 Services Personal
Salary of Patrolmen $7,936.53; all of the budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and declaring an
extraordinary emergency ".
Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance be reported to the Council as favorable. Councilman Erler
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn,
which motion was seconded by Councilman Niezgodski. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole meeting
adjourned•at •8:08 P.M.
