MAY 10TH, 1954
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in
the Council Chamber, Monday, May 10th, 1954, at 8:11 p•m., with all.members present except Councilmen Alford
and Pinter.
ORDINANCE N0. 3978
"An Ordinance appropriating certain monies from the General Fund to the General Improvement Fund of the City of
South Bend, Indiana and declaring an emergency."
Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 3979
"An Ordinance transferring funds from C -11 Services - Personal (City Clerk) $238.64 to A -11 Services - Personal
(Office of Mayor) and establishing salary of Deputy City Clerks at $3600.00 each ;; all of the budget for 1954
of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and declaring it an emergency."
Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Niezgodski
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to
adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Bestle. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole
meeting adjourned at 8:12 P.M. „
