U— COMMITTEE O-P THE WHOLE MEETING _ JANUARY 25TH, 1954
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in
the Council Chamber, Monday, January 25th, 1954, at 8:02 P.M., with all members present. Chairman Hahn presided.
"An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend,
Indiana ".
Approximately 300 interested persons appeared before the Common Council relative to the rezoning of East Jefferson
Blvd. between Tuxedo Drive and 25th Street for erection of -the osteopathic hospital.
5,- MINUTE RECESS - 10 :05 P.M.
Councilman Niezgodski made a motion for a five minute recess. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
RECONVENED MEETING - 10:20 P.M.
Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance be referred to the Council with recommendations that the Council
return this ordinance to the Plan Commission for further study. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn,
which motion was seconded by Councilman Muszynski. Motion carried, and the Committee of the whole meeting
adjourned at 10 :.30 P.M.
