MEETING
Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the Committee of the Whole meeting
in the Council Chamber, Monday, November 23rd, 1953, at 8:10 P.M., with all members present except Councilman
Bestle. Chairman Hahn presided.
ORDINANCE NO. 3947
"An Ordinance transferring Hands from Fire Department Q -11 Services Personal $1,230900 to Fire Department Q -222
Gas #230.00 and Q -252 Repairs of Equipment $1,000.00 all of the budget for 1953 of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana and declaring'an emergency".
Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE
"An Ordinance amending - Ordinance No. 3702, adopted June 13, 1949, and commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of South Bend%
(Lot on E. Colfax Ave. from Notre Dame Ave. to Frances St.)
Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council unfavorable* Councilman Muszynski seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
There being no other business before the Committee of the 'Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn,
which motion was seconded by Councilman Erler. Motion carried, and the Commitee of the Whole meeting adjourned
at 8 :32 P,.M.
