U COMMIT`T'EE OF THE WHOLE MEETING OCTOBER 27TH, 1952
Be it remembered that the Common Oouncil of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole
meeting in the Council Chamber,, Monday,, October 27th, 1952; at 8:00 P.M., with all members..present except
Councilman Pinter, Chairman Hahn presided.
ORDINANCE NO. 3895 (AS AMENDED)
"An Ordinance designating West Ewing Avenue a boulevard from Franklin Street to Gertrude St., ".
Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance designating West Ewing Lienue a boulevard from. Franklin Ste
to Gertrude St, be.amended by striking out Gertxude:St ,and inserting Prairie.Ave. (Route 23)0 Councilman Glass
'seconded the motion. Motion. carried. Moved by Councilman Muszynski and seconded by Councilman Glass the
ordinance designating Ewing Ave. a boulevard be..approved as amended and go to the Council favorable.
ORDINANCE NO. 3896
An Ordinance transferring monies from P -11, Police Department, Services Personal, $5,200 to P -38, General
Supplies, $200; P -724, Motor Equipment, $5,000, and from V -11, Electrical Department, Services Personal,
$1,394.14 and from V -216, Traveling Expenses, $118.11 to V -724, Motor Equipment, $1,512.25, and from Q -11,
Fire Department, Services Personal, $4,000 to Q -251, Repairs of Buildings and Structures, $4,000 and from
T -261, Traffic Department, Other Contractual Services, x$300 to T -252, Repairs of Equipment, $300.00".
Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Korpal seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to
adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Korpal. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole
meeting adjourned at 8 :05 P.Mo
