meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, august 28th, 1950, at 8:10 P.M. with all members present. "airman

ORDINANCE NO. 3775 (AS AMENDED)
"An Ordinance appropriating moneys for the purpose of defraying the expenses of all budget - operated departments
of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1951, and ending December 31,
1951,, including departments -, funds and commissions for which money is appropriated, in whole or in part, from
funds other than the general funds of said City, to -wit: Street, Traffic and Park Department, Firemen's Pension
and Policemen's Pension Funds, and the City Plan Commission: providing that such appropriations shall include
all outstanding claims and obligations: fixing the salaries of all city officials and employees: repealing
all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith: providing a time when the same shall take effect ".
The ordinance was read item by item and amendments were made to an item in the Police Department and several
items in the Park Department, and at the conclusion the Committee of the Whole reported it favorably to the
Council as amended.
ORDINANCE NO. 3776 (AS AMENDED)
'An Ordinance fixing the Tax Levy for the year 1951 for the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana".
Councilman Erler made a motion that the proposed amendments relative to Tax Levy be accepted. Councilman
Muszyns-U seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Erler made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by
Councilman'Tellson. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
